The South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust is committed to making the Policy Portal accessible to everyone who uses it, in line with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
The portal is designed and tested to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines — WCAG 2.1 at level AA. Every screen is built to be usable with a keyboard alone, to work with screen readers, and to meet the minimum colour-contrast requirements for text and interface controls.
Automated accessibility checks run against the portal as part of our build process, so common barriers are caught before any change is released. These automated checks are supplemented by manual review of new screens.
